That's confidence

The USA may have announced their squad a full two weeks before the roster deadline, but Carlos Alberto Perreira, coach of Brazil, has us beat. He's actually named his starting XI for the first match against Croatia. It's got the Fantsatic Four of Ronaldinho, Kaka, Ronaldo and Adriano leading the attack (if they really were the Fantastic Four, I'm guessing Ronaldo would be The Thing.), and old-as-the-hills wing backs Cafu and Roberto Carlos providing the flank play. (I'm telling you Group F coaches: move your strikers into isolation situations against these two. First team to do that beats Brazil.) Robinho is presumably waiting in the wings for when Ronaldo is too tired of waddling around up front.

I guess when Brazil beats them 4-0, the Croutons can't claim that their opponent's fooled them with their formation and lineup.
